Winged Victory of Samothrace

I've subtly adjusted the image to introduce a soft blue-grey tone, allowing the details of the drawing to stand out.. This poster has a partly glossy, partly matte finish and it'll add a touch of sophistication to any room.

The magnificent Winged Victory of Samothrace stands proudly at the top of the Daru staircase in the Louvre, Paris.

There's something quite magical about seeing this spectacular sculpture in person, surrounded by the beautiful architecture and soft, romantic lighting of the museum. Seeing great works of art in person stirs something in the soul, and this was certainly no exception.

Naturally, I couldn't resist capturing her in a drawing of my own. The original drawing has since found a new home, but I'm delighted to now offer it as a fine art print.
